　　I’m not at all surprised Syfy decided to renew Haven for a new season, but there was a fun twist to this happy story. 　　来自《前世今生》（Past Life）的Nicholas Bishop扮演该剧的男主角。该剧讲述神经外科医生Megan Hunt（Dana Delany扮演）转行当验尸官，并利用自己的医学特长协助同事破案的故事。因为Megan像个活测谎仪，所以没人愿意接近她。Nicholas Bishop扮演Megan的同事Peter，这位角色「曾当过职业橄榄球运动员，身材健美」。

　　聚焦活跃在1970年代的美国连环杀手、强奸犯——“金州杀手”。他犯下至少50起入室强奸、13起谋杀，一直隐藏在黑暗中。2018年，前警察Joseph James DeAngelo被起诉，疑为这名杀手。剧名来自金州杀手威胁一名受害者的话：“你将永远开不了口，而我将消失在黑暗中。”
　　本剧改编自作家Michelle McNamara对金州杀手的同名纪实调查书。

　　五季会继续讲述国务部的故事，因为她还得继续工作。不过一旦竞选开始了，我们便会推进整个过程。我们非常想拍这个过程，已经开始做好调查研究了，接下来会讲述她在竞选途中所发现的事。
